I posted last night about the adult coloring book I had recieved, and I was so very excited to begin. I colored for a little over an hour last night (there are so many nooks and crannies!) and it really was extremely relaxing. I completely understand the meaning behind “active meditation” now. I am excited to color more today.
I intend to dedicate at least 20 minutes a day to coloring, at the suggestion of my professor who got me started on this self-care trip. I’ll keep you posted. I appreciate your positive feedback on my last post and hope you all find the same positive ends from meditative coloring as I aim for too.
